The fireworks display held on July 26, 2026 (Sunday) at the UNESCO World Heritage Oshorino Site as part of the thanksgiving festival. Beginning at 7:30 PM, fireworks light up the night sky one after another against the backdrop of the Jomon Forest. While the official number of fireworks has not been announced, this event's fireworks have a subdued, respectful atmosphere befitting a ceremony of gratitude to the site. Overlapping with memories of the pit dwellings and forest viewed during the day, it becomes a special evening where you can feel the story of the land continuing from ancient times to the present.

Tips
In case of bad weather, there is a possibility of cancellation; confirm with the organizers on the day. At night, the ground is dark, so use your phone's light for safety. After the show, the road to the parking area becomes crowded, so lingering a bit to enjoy the afterglow before heading home is recommended.
