Paddy field scenery spreading across the high-altitude Tonbara district. In summer, lush green rice paddies spread out, and you can enjoy the clear air and wide-open scenery unique to a highland area. There are no flashy tourist facilities, but the idyllic highland scenery itself is the attraction. In a cooler climate than urban areas, families can take a leisurely stroll.
Tips
Drive from Akaki Kogen Station. Farm roads are also local roads, so when passing through, please be considerate of local residents. Drive to the next creek area.
Best time to visit
Takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. The afternoon when sunlight becomes softer is recommended
