About this spot

This coast stretches along National Route 9 in Taki-cho, Izumo City. The mountains press right up to the sea, forming sea cliffs carved out by the waves of the Sea of Japan. Rather than sand, the beach is covered with round pebbles, and it is known for the sound of stones rolling against each other as the waves recede. To the east, you can see the Inasa coastline, and since the area is maintained as a seaside sports park, you can reach the beach on foot just a short walk from the parking lot. After enjoying swimming, it is the perfect spot to spend some quiet time watching the Sea of Japan at dusk.

Tips

You can walk here from Kirara Beach. Avoid strolling around in a wet swimsuit; changing into dry clothes first will be more comfortable. Next, you will move on to dinner and securing a spot near the venue.
