A coastal area in the southeast of Miyako Island, known for its highly transparent sea. The shallow sea features rocky areas and coral fragments where small creatures live, making it a popular snorkeling spot. Spend the late afternoon at this quiet and serene seashore, different from Yonaha Maehama.
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from Kroma Island. Tides change the visible landscape daily, so checking low tide times in advance makes it more enjoyable. Wear marine shoes as there are rocky areas.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour. Low tide time is perfect for observing intertidal creatures.
