2026年7月25日(土)開催、東近江市八日市地域の夏を締めくくる花火大会です。近江鉄道八日市駅前を舞台に、19時から花火が夜空に打ち上がります。駅前という街の中心で見上げる花火は、商店街のにぎわいと一体になった東近江らしい夏祭りの雰囲気を味わえるのが魅力。地域に根づいた祭りならではのあたたかな一体感に包まれる夜になります。
Tips
荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は東近江市の公式発表で確認を。駅前周辺は夕方から大変混雑するため、早めに観覧場所を確保しましょう。終了後は近江鉄道の帰りの電車が混み合うため、時間差での移動がおすすめです。

About 10 minutes by car from Rokuha Park. Traffic restrictions may be in place around the station front on the day, so park your car early. Food stalls may sell out quickly, so it's safer to purchase food and drinks earlier in the evening.

About 1 hour 45 minutes required. Around sunset, you can enjoy both the festival lights and the evening glow.
