Visit a museum showcasing Tsuchiyama's history and culture with "The Road" as its theme
About this spot
A museum that introduces the lives of people who have traveled through this land since ancient times, based on the historical characteristics of Tsuchiyama, which flourished as a post town on the old Tokaido. Through panels of the Imperial Kensai procession and videos of the Kenketo dance tradition of the region, you can experience Tsuchiyama's history and culture from a different perspective than Tokaido Denma Hall. Located close to Tamura Shrine, it's the perfect spot to visit before the lantern festival begins.
