A cycling road developed along the lakeshore of Lake Kahoku, a brackish lake connected to the Sea of Japan and adjacent to Uchinada Town. While enjoying views of fields and the lake, you can leisurely cycle on flat terrain, making it easy to enjoy even with small children. The calm waterside scenery, different from the sea, offers healing and relaxation.
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Uchinada Coast. It's reassuring to check in advance the availability of rental bicycles and their locations. In hours of strong sunlight, remember a hat and stay hydrated.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour required. Times closer to evening have gentler sunlight, making cycling more comfortable
