About this spot

Osanbashi Pier, close to Shinko Pier where the fireworks are launched, is a spot where you can take in sweeping night views of Yokohama Port and Minato Mirai from its rooftop wood deck. On the day of the fireworks festival, many people wait here for the show to start, so it's best to move a bit early and secure a comfortable spot. Watching the port's night view while waiting for the show to begin is also part of this day's special enjoyment.

Tips

About a 10-minute walk from the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. It gets very crowded from evening onward, so claiming a spot early is important. It can be windy outdoors, so having something to layer on is reassuring.

Best time to visit

About 45 minutes. The Minato Mirai night view right after sunset is also a highlight.
