Located in the southwestern part of Yokote City, the Daio district is a peaceful area with rice paddies and countryside spread out. In the peak of summer, vividly green rice sways in the breeze, and in the distance, green mountains form a line—the rural landscape typical of Yokote. While there's no particular tourist facility, just parking your car briefly and slowly walking down a rice paddy path allows you to forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Spend the afternoon waiting for evening fireworks relaxing in the quiet countryside.

2026年7月25日(土)開催、横手市大雄地区の夏を締めくくる大雄サマーフェスティバルの打ち上げ花火です。20時から21時までの1時間、里山に囲まれた会場の夜空に花火が打ち上がります。周囲に高い建物が少ないため、開けた夜空いっぱいに広がる花火をゆったりと見上げられるのが魅力です。田園地帯ならではの静けさの中で聞く花火の音は、都市部の大会とはまた違った趣があります。

Tips

荒天時は中止または内容変更の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は事前に確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでから帰路につくのがおすすめです。足元が暗いので懐中電灯があると安心です。
