About this spot

Located in the southwestern part of Yokote City, the Daio district is a peaceful area with rice paddies and countryside spread out. In the peak of summer, vividly green rice sways in the breeze, and in the distance, green mountains form a line—the rural landscape typical of Yokote. While there's no particular tourist facility, just parking your car briefly and slowly walking down a rice paddy path allows you to forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Spend the afternoon waiting for evening fireworks relaxing in the quiet countryside.

Tips

Be careful not to enter paths during agricultural work or private property. Summer has strong sunlight, so a hat or parasol is reassuring. Car travel is the basic method of transportation; it's good to check parking information around the venue in advance.

Takes about 2 hours 15 minutes. As evening approaches, the sun softens and walking becomes easier
