About this spot

This is one of Matsuura City's leading viewpoints, offering a 360-degree view of Imari Bay (伊万里湾) and the lush green mountains from the 288m summit. The children's plaza also has large play equipment and a water play area, and you'll often see families spreading out picnic lunches. Take in the scenery from Matsuura's highlands, a different view from Imafuku Port.

Tips

About a 20-25 minute drive from Imafuku Port (今福港). There's a slope up to the summit, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. If you use the water play area, it helps to bring a change of clothes.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 15 minutes. Mornings are relatively cool and easier to enjoy the view
