About this spot

A nature experience facility in the beech forest spreading across the highlands of Iiyama City. Walking along the well-maintained footpaths through the rich forest, you can spend pleasant moments surrounded by dappled sunlight and bird songs. The facility also offers nature-related exhibits and experience programs, providing an opportunity for children to become familiar with nature. The forest remains cool even in summer, allowing you to escape the heat while enjoying your time.

Tips

About 15 minutes by car from Togari Onsen. Some footpaths have poor footing, so wear comfortable shoes. Insect repellent spray is recommended.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1.5 hours. Early afternoon during the cooler hours is recommended.
