With high altitude, cool breezes blow through even in midsummer, making it perfect for families to relax. Hiking courses are well-maintained, offering a different sense of openness unique to highlands compared to rural and castle town trails. As evening approaches, keep in mind the time to return to Togari Onsen.

Tips

About 20 minutes by car from Iiyama Castle Ruins Park. With high altitude, it's comforting to have a light jacket even in summer. Considering the time to return to the venue, depart after 5 PM.
