About this spot

A museum introducing ancient life and archaeological finds of the Tango Peninsula, with dinosaur monuments in the outdoor area that are popular with children. Inside, exhibits teach the story of Tango during the Kofun period in an easy-to-understand way. Within the spacious grounds is a grass lawn where you can play and move around a bit after viewing the exhibits. Start your fireworks day leisurely by learning about Tango's history.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from central Amino. Parking is free. During summer vacation, many families visit for science projects, so early hours tend to offer more comfortable viewing.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour required. Outdoor exhibits are more comfortable in early afternoon than during peak sun hours.
