About this spot

This expansive urban-park-style botanical garden is a pride of Hyogo Prefecture, offering colorful flowers such as roses, tulips, and sunflowers throughout the seasons. The large greenhouse features tropical plants and vivid flower displays year-round, and with a lawn plaza and play equipment area, it's a comfortable place to bring young children. The grounds are spacious, perfect for a leisurely walk while photographing the seasonal blooms. In summer, sunflowers and other summer flowers reach their peak, making for a refreshing start to a family day out.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from Kasai City Hall. Summer sun is strong, so don't forget a hat and water. The grounds are large, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. There's a restaurant and shop on-site, so having lunch here will make the afternoon schedule go smoothly.

About 2 hours. It's relatively uncrowded from morning through early afternoon, so you can enjoy the flowers at leisure
