One of Kansai's most expansive sunflower fields, spreading across the Nanko area of Sayo Town. In summer, the entire field turns brilliant yellow, and the backdrop of distant mountains makes for spectacular photos. Walking paths wind through the field, allowing leisurely strolls while gazing up at the sunflowers up close. 佐用町南光ひまわり祭りのクライマックス、南光スポーツ公園(若あゆランド)一帯で行われる花火大会です。2026年8月2日(日)、山あいの夜空に約800発の花火が次々と打ち上がります。周囲を山に囲まれた会場ならではの、音が反響する迫力ある観覧が魅力です。地元の夏祭りとして親しまれてきた行事で、屋台のにぎわいも夜を盛り上げます。ひまわりと川遊びを楽しんだ1日の締めくくりにふさわしい、夏の夜のクライマックスです。

Tips

荒天時は中止・延期になる場合があるため、当日は佐用町の公式発表で開催可否を確認しましょう。終了後は駐車場からの出庫が混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの時間差帰宅がおすすめです。

Tips

Peak bloom is typically late July through early August. Midday sun is strong, so bring a hat, parasol, and drinks. Parking is available in surrounding areas but can get crowded during peak season.
