2026年8月1日(土)開催、函館開港167周年と函館港まつりを祝う第71回道新花火大会です。緑の島の沖合から打ち上がる花火は、港のベイエリアや函館山の麓など函館市街の広い範囲から眺めることができます。打ち上げ数は公表されていませんが、開港記念にふさわしい規模で函館の夜空を彩る、地元で長く愛されてきた花火大会です。港の夜景と花火が重なる景色は、函館ならではの特別な眺めです。

Tips

荒天時は中止・順延となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は主催の発表で確認を。会場周辺は大変混雑するため、公共交通機関の利用がおすすめです。終了後は市電やバスが混み合うので、少し時間をおいてからの移動がスムーズです。
