Around Niseko Station (ニセコ駅), known for its retro wooden station building, local restaurants and souvenir shops are scattered about. Picking up dinner in town at this point lets you settle in comfortably once you reach the fireworks venue. Simply strolling through the townscape backed by Mt. Yotei in the soft evening light gives a real sense of being on a trip.
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from the Arishima Memorial Museum. Shops near the venue get crowded at night, so this is a good time to shop for food. You can drive to the sports park venue from here.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 30 minutes. The early evening, as it starts to cool down, is a good time for a stroll.
