About this spot

A scenic spot on the coast of Setana-ku, Setana-cho, where three massive rock pillars stand close together. Shaped over a long span of time by the Sea of Japan's rough waves and wind and rain, this natural formation is beloved as a local symbol for its powerful presence. You can view it up close from an observation area along the coast, and it's a perfect spot for photos alongside the vast Sea of Japan. It's a fitting place to start the course, letting you feel the grandeur of Setana's ocean firsthand.

Tips

Just a short walk from the parking lot. The wind along the coast can be strong, so be careful that hats and other items don't blow away. Sea spray can make the ground slippery, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
