This fishing port supports daily life in Setana-ku, Setana-cho, and is a memorable spot for its rows of colorful fishing boats. In the evening, boats return from fishing, and you can feel the harbor's lively atmosphere. This is the place, close to tonight's fireworks venue, that gave the Isaribi (fishing fire) Festival its name, letting you experience up close a town's life alongside the sea. It's also recommended to stroll slowly along the harbor and watch the sun sink into the Sea of Japan.

Tips

Since parts of the fishing port are working areas, please avoid touching the moored boats or equipment. The sea breeze can pick up in the evening, so it's reassuring to have something to wear over your clothes.
