A representative shrine of Ichinomiya Town that has been worshipped since ancient times as the chief shrine of Kazusa Province. The dignified shrine building, surrounded by lush greenery, is enveloped in tranquil air. Known as a deity for safe childbirth and good relationships, it attracts many families. Before the seaside fireworks festival, pay your respects to the town's patron deity.

2026年8月1日(土)開催の一宮町納涼花火大会です。九十九里浜に面した一宮海岸から、約5,000発の花火が夜の海に向かって打ち上がります。遮るもののない広い砂浜からは花火が大きく見え、波音と重なる打ち上げ音も海辺の花火ならではの臨場感です。サーフィンの町として知られる一宮町の夏を締めくくる、地元でも人気の花火大会です。
Tips
荒天時は中止・順延となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は主催の発表で確認を。終了後は最寄り駅や道路が大変混雑するため、少し時間をおいてからの帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗いのでスマホのライトで安全に。
Tips
About 8 minutes walk from Kazusa Ichinomiya Station. Plenty of shade under trees make it relatively cool even in summer. Allow extra time if you want to receive an omamori (shrine amulet) with a stamp.
Best time to visit
Takes about 1 hour. Relatively quiet for visits from morning through early afternoon.
