About this spot

Located at the southern tip of Kujukuri Beach, this famous beach also served as the surfing venue for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics. Known year-round as a renowned surf spot that draws many surfers, it's enjoyable just to watch from the sand. Tonight's fireworks will launch right over this sea, so take in the wide-open view during the daytime. Strolling in the sea breeze offers the openness unique to a seaside town.

About a 10-minute walk from the shopping street. Sunlight is strong in summer, so wear a hat and take sun protection measures. If swimming, check the hours and areas where lifeguards are on duty.
