This is the Ichinomiya Town Cool Evening Fireworks Festival held on Saturday, August 1, 2026. About 5,000 fireworks are launched toward the night sea from Ichinomiya Beach, which faces Kujukuri Beach. From the wide, unobstructed sandy beach, the fireworks appear large, and the launch sounds overlapping with the waves give a sense of presence unique to seaside fireworks. It's a fireworks festival popular even among locals, bringing the summer of Ichinomiya Town, known as a surfing town, to a close.

In case of severe weather, it may be canceled or postponed, so check the organizer's announcement on the day for whether it will be held. After it ends, the nearest station and roads become very crowded, so it's recommended to wait a while before heading home. It's dark underfoot, so use your phone's light to stay safe.
