Natural sculptural beauty: over 40 unique rock formations in a line
About this spot
Stretching about 850 meters from the Kushimoto coast toward Oshima Island, over 40 rock formations of various sizes line up in a perfectly straight formation. Designated as a National Scenic Beauty and Natural Monument, these rocks are known for their geologically unique natural formation resembling bridge pilings. The contrast with sunset and sunrise is also famous for its beauty. A roadside station is adjacent, convenient for rest and souvenir shopping. At low tide, you can walk closer to the rocks and experience their impressive scale firsthand.

2026年8月1日(土)開催、東牟婁郡串本町の串本漁港堤防を会場に行われる、串本まつりのフィナーレを飾る花火大会です。約4,000発の花火が19時45分から21時までの間、熊野灘に面した夜空に次々と打ち上がります。漁港の堤防という開けた立地のため、花火が海面に映り込む美しい景色も楽しめるのが魅力です。潮風を感じながら見上げる大輪の花火は、海の町串本ならではの夏の締めくくりにふさわしい光景です。

荒天時は日程が変更・中止となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は串本町の公式発表で確認しましょう。終了後は駅や駐車場周辺が大変混雑するため、時間に余裕を持って移動を。
