A fireworks display held at the Furumiya Red Lighthouse pier in Saganoseki Port, timed to coincide with the summer festival at Hayasuhime Shrine. On Thursday, July 30, 2026, about 1,000 fireworks shells launch one after another into the night sky over the harbor. The fireworks that color the night of this port town, known for Seki-aji and Seki-saba, create a dreamlike atmosphere together with the light reflected on the water. As the finale of a summer festival deeply rooted in the local community, the event draws large crowds of families.
