Located in front of Osaka-Sayama City Station on the Nankai Koya Line, this shopping street area is rooted in the local community's daily life. With restaurants, cafes, and shops selling everyday items, it's a perfect spot to take a break during your walk or do some shopping. It's also a good idea to pick up cold drinks and light snacks here before heading to the fireworks display. The station is within walking distance to Sayama Pond Park, so getting there in the evening is convenient.

2026年8月1日(土)開催、日本最古級のため池とされる狭山池のほとりを舞台にした夏の花火大会です。静かな水面に花火の光が映り込む様子は、都市近郊の公園ならではの見どころ。打上数の公式発表は確認されていませんが、池を囲む遊歩道のどこからでも花火を見上げられる開放感のある会場です。歴史ある池と夜空を彩る花火の共演を、家族でゆっくり楽しみましょう。
Tips
荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の発表で確認を。終了後は駅周辺が混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの帰路がおすすめです。夜の遊歩道は足元が暗い箇所もあるので、スマホのライトがあると安心です。

You can walk here from Sayama Shrine. On the day of the fireworks festival, the evening will be crowded, so make sure to get what you need early. There are coin lockers at the station, so you can travel light.
