About this spot
A park that spreads over a high ground overlooking the Shin-Nanyo area and is cherished by locals. Known as a cherry blossom spot, in summer you can enjoy the cool evening in the lush trees. Being near the fireworks venue, from the evening many families gather, spread out sheets and have dinner while waiting for the show to begin. Relax while watching the sky darken.

2026年8月1日(土)開催、第50回の節目を迎えるサンフェスタしんなんようのゆめ花火です。新南陽駅周辺、永源山公園一帯を舞台に、約5,000発の花火が夜空を彩ります。50回という長い歴史を積み重ねてきた地域の夏まつりとして、毎年多くの家族連れでにぎわう花火大会です。緑豊かな公園から見上げる花火は、木々のシルエットとあわさって新南陽ならではの風景をつくります。
Tips
荒天時は中止・順延となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は主催の発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、時間差での帰宅がスムーズです。夜は気温が下がることもあるので羽織ものを忘れずに。
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from Toishi Hachimangu Shrine. On the day of the summer festival, parking lots can get crowded, so arriving early is recommended. It is reassuring to obtain drinks and light snacks in advance.
Best time to visit
About 3 hours 15 minutes. You can enjoy leisurely time from dusk until just before the fireworks.
