Lake Saiko, one of the Fuji Five Lakes, is particularly known for its peaceful atmosphere. Walking paths are developed along the lakeside, allowing leisurely strolls while enjoying the calm lake surface reflecting surrounding mountains. The unspoiled, simple landscape remains, perfect for families to spend time together. Viewing the lake in daytime before tonight's fireworks helps you visualize good viewing spots for the evening.

2026年8月2日(日)開催、富士五湖のひとつ西湖を舞台にした花火大会です。湖上から約1,000発の花火が夜空に次々と打ち上がり、周囲を山に囲まれた静かな湖面には「逆さ花火」が美しく映り込みます。19時30分から19時50分までの20分間に凝縮された花火は、テンポよく打ち上がるぶん見応えがあり、静けさの中に響く音と光のコントラストが印象的です。ほかの富士五湖の花火大会に比べて人出が控えめなのも、ゆったり楽しみたい家族連れには嬉しいポイントです。
Tips
荒天時は中止または順延の場合があるため、当日は主催者の発表を確認しましょう。開催時間が短いので、開始10〜15分前には見やすい場所に着いておくのがおすすめです。終了後は帰り道が暗いので懐中電灯を用意しておくと安全です。

About 15 minutes by car from Fugaku Fuketsu Cave. Some areas of the lake shore have little shade, so in summer a hat or sunscreen is useful. Identify restroom locations while there's still light.
