The area around the Ijira Fureai Sawayaka Dome (伊自良ふれあい・さわやかドーム), the venue for the Ijira Summer Festival. On the day of the event, food stalls and other activities fill this normally quiet mountain town as part of the local summer festival, giving it a lively atmosphere. Spread out a takeout dinner and enjoy watching the evening sky gradually turn to night. The warm atmosphere unique to a small, community-rooted summer festival is the highlight here.

Tips

About 15 minutes by car from Gifu Prefectural Hyakunen Park. Parking space around the venue is limited, so arriving early is recommended. It's a good idea to pick up food beforehand.

About 2 hours 45 minutes. The mountain scenery at dusk is also worth seeing
