A mansion built by a wealthy merchant who made his fortune mining iron sulfide ore and copper in the late Edo period—the raw materials for bengar production. The mansion structure, with its multiple layers of stone walls rising up the mountainside, resembles a castle fortress and commands awe. This unique landscape, which has served as a film location, is a must-see when visiting the Fukiya area.

高梁市成羽町布寄、夫婦岩と呼ばれる名勝の周辺で開催される、地域に根ざした夏祭りの花火大会です。2026年8月1日(土)20時から、山あいの渓谷に花火が打ち上がり、周囲の山々に音が反響する迫力のある観覧体験ができます。ひまわり祭りの一環として開催されるため、日中はひまわり畑の彩りも楽しめるのが特徴です。大規模な会場にはない、地域に密着した親密な雰囲気の中で、家族でゆったりと夜空を見上げましょう。

Tips

成羽川河畔から車で約10分。会場周辺の駐車場は限られているため、早めの到着がおすすめです。荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は高梁市や主催者の公式発表で確認してください。夜は足元が暗いので、小さなライトがあると安心です。
