2026年7月27日(月)開催、れんげ祭の名で親しまれてきた宍道町祇園祭の花火です。宍道湖岸から約2,200発の花火が打ち上がり、穏やかな湖面には花火の光が映り込む「逆さ花火」のような美しい光景が広がります。地域の夏の風物詩として長く続けられてきた祭りで、地元住民と観光客がともに夜空を見上げる、あたたかな雰囲気に包まれます。湖ならではの静かな水面と花火のコントラストをぜひ楽しんでください。
Tips
荒天時は中止・順延となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は主催の発表で確認を。終了後は最寄り駅や道路が混み合うため、時間差での帰宅がスムーズです。湖畔は足元が暗いため、小さなライトがあると安心です。
Tips
You can walk to the lakeshore from the Lake Shiji Clam Museum. While lakeside breezes are pleasant in the evening, it becomes slightly cool after sunset, so a light jacket is recommended.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. The sunset time, particularly around dusk, is especially recommended.
