Located on the waterfront in the Yoshiura district on the east side of Kure Harbor, this is tonight's fireworks venue. After arriving from Renga Street, spread out your takeout dinner and leisurely enjoy the view of the Seto Inland Sea as the sun dips low. Since the crowds will swell after dusk with fireworks enthusiasts, it's wise to secure a comfortable spot to sit during this time. 2026年8月1日(土)20時30分開催、吉浦町の百十周年を記念して行われる海上花火大会です。瀬戸内海の穏やかな海上から、夜空に花火が次々と打ち上がります。海に面した開放的な会場のため視界を遮るものが少なく、家族連れでも見やすいのが魅力。造船と海軍の町として歩んできた呉の歴史を1日巡ったあとに見上げる海上花火は、この日のクライマックスにふさわしい光景です。
Tips
荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の公式発表で確認を。終了直後は吉浦駅周辺が混雑するため、フィナーレ後は少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめ。足元が暗い箇所もあるのでスマホのライトで安全に。
Tips
From Kure Station, take the JR Kure Line one stop to Yoshiura Station, then walk to the area. Evening on fireworks day brings heavy congestion around the venue. Purchase food and drinks early—shops can sell out quickly. Please take all trash with you.
Best time to visit
Approximately 3.5 hours needed. The waterfront around sunset is the most pleasant time to enjoy the evening breeze.
