A premier shopping district in Nagoya where retro atmosphere mingles with subculture. The street is lined with street food vendors, electronics shops, vintage clothing stores, and miscellaneous goods shops, creating an endless entertainment as you stroll. As the gateway town to Osu Kannon Temple, this historic street offers family fun in exploring various shops. On the festival day, the area becomes even more crowded after evening, so enjoying it earlier in the afternoon is recommended.

Tips

Just a short walk from Osu Kannon Station on the Tsurumai Metro Line. Use shop frontage for street eating and avoid eating while walking. With large crowds, be cautious about valuables.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes required. Early afternoon has fewer crowds than evening and is easier to walk through.
