About this spot

This waterfront park on the Tama River riverbed features a roughly 250-meter miniature stream recreating the river's flow from its source to the sea. A small suspension bridge crosses it, and patterns on the ground depict the surrounding basin, letting you walk as if tracing the river's journey. The shallow stream is also great for playing in the water. Walking through the area where tonight's fireworks will be launched during the day makes it easier to picture where to view them later. There's little shade here, so it's reassuring to bring a hat and something to drink.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Suntory Musashino Brewery. Sunlight is strong in summer, so don't forget a hat and sun protection.

About 1 hour. This is when the river breeze feels most pleasant before evening
