The Hachioji Fireworks Festival, held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Fujimori Park in Hachioji, is the city's representative fireworks festival. Approximately 4,000 fireworks are launched successively into the night sky between 7 PM and 8:15 PM. Popular with families every year for offering a full-scale fireworks experience near the city center, the open park setting with unobstructed views allows for a leisurely viewing of the fireworks overhead.
