Coinciding with the annual festival of Futarasan Shrine Chuzenji Shrine, this lakeside fireworks display is dedicated to the shrine. On July 31, 2026, fireworks launch from the lake surface, their light reflecting beautifully on the calm water—creating the enchanting sight of "mirror fireworks." The sound of fireworks at this 1,269-meter-high plateau reverberates through the surrounding mountains, sounding particularly powerful. As a tribute to the sacred peak of Mount Nantai (Futarasan), this formal dedicatory event is highly respected.

Tips
