A community-rooted summer festival fireworks spectacular held at the plaza in front of Shimotsuke City Hall. From 7 PM to 8 PM for one hour, fireworks light up the night sky one after another, as spectators look up from their chosen spots in the spacious plaza. This is a warm-hearted, community-made fireworks festival that has been sustained through the cooperation of local businesses and shopping districts. As the finale to your day of historical walks and story-filled explorations, look up at the fireworks with your family.
