Complete your shopping at the station and then head to the festival venue.

琵琶湖のほとりを会場に、16時からまつりが始まります。屋台が立ち並び、日が傾くにつれて少しずつ人出も増えていきます。打ち上げ数は公表されていませんが、湖面を渡る風とともに見上げる花火は、湖族の町堅田ならではの夏の風物詩として長く親しまれています。昼間に浮御堂や湖畔を巡った1日の締めくくりにふさわしい、湖のほとりで過ごす特別な夜です。

Tips

会場周辺は当日大変混雑するため、早めに到着して場所を確保するのがおすすめです。荒天時は中止や日程変更の可能性があるため、当日は主催者の公式発表を確認しましょう。終了後は駅や周辺道路が混み合うため、時間に余裕を持って移動しましょう。
