This area preserves remnants of Hodogaya Shuku, which flourished as a post town along the Tokaido during the Edo period. Historical sites including former magistrate's mansion remains and mileage markers dot the area, allowing families to leisurely explore while experiencing history. Unlike crowded tourist destinations, this offers a chance to feel Hodogaya's history in a calm, community-rooted atmosphere.

Accessible on foot or by car from Hodogaya Park. Historical sites are scattered throughout the residential area—follow directional signs while exploring.

Allow about 1 hour. Afternoon hours when sun intensity decreases are more comfortable for walking.
