A shrine long revered as the tutelary shrine of Okawa City, with a history of over 1,600 years. The well-maintained grounds feature the main shrine hall and other structures with traditional charm, enveloped in a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Known for blessings of purification and safe childbirth, it has long been cherished by local residents. Before the summer festival, be sure to pay respects to the local tutelary deity.

2026年8月1日(土)開催、第17回を迎える大川市民夏まつりです。国際医療福祉大学大川キャンパスを会場に17時30分から21時まで祭りが続き、屋台グルメやステージイベントで会場が大いに盛り上がります。打ち上げ数は公表されていませんが、祭りのクライマックスとして夜空に花火が打ち上がり、地域住民が一体となって夏の夜を楽しみます。家具の町・大川ならではの、あたたかい地域密着の夏祭りです。
