This is the Hitachi Kawarago Fireworks Festival, held on the night of Saturday, August 1, 2026, around Kawarago Port in Hitachi City. About 2,500 fireworks rise one after another into the night sky over this port town facing the Pacific Ocean, creating a dynamic scene together with the light reflecting on the water. As the finale of a day filled with the charms of Hitachi City, from Kamine Park to Oiwa Shrine, it should be a special time for families to look up at the night sky together.
