This is the Hakuba Summer Festival held on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Fireworks rise one after another into the night sky from the Hakuba Green Sports no Mori venue, and with the Northern Alps mountain range as a backdrop, the scene has a grandeur unique to Hakuba Village. It is a handmade summer festival the community has nurtured over many years, and its appeal is that spectators are close to the display, letting you feel the fireworks' impact up close. Thanks to the high-altitude location, another welcome point is being able to enjoy the fireworks in a cool night breeze.
