This is the climax of the Gonohe Summer Festival: the fireworks display held at Hibarino Park. On Saturday, August 1, 2026, about 2,000 fireworks rise one after another into the night sky over this Nanbu countryside. As a summer festival long loved by locals, it draws many families. It is a fitting climax to a summer night, capping off a day of enjoying flowers, dahlias, and a stroll through history.
