Ruins of a castle built on high ground overlooking the confluence of the Tenryu and Futamatsu rivers during the Sengoku period. Known for the tragic tale connected to Tokugawa Ieyasu's eldest son, Nobutaka, this historic site retains the original stone walls of the main bailey. From the elevated location, you can view the town of Tenryu-Futamatsu and the river flow in one panorama, and feel history in quiet moments. It's accessible on foot from Tenryu-Futamatsu Station.

Tips

荒天時は中止・延期となる場合があるため、当日の実施状況は浜松市や大会の公式発表で確認しましょう。河原は足元が不安定な場所もあるので、歩きやすい靴での来場がおすすめです。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、時間差での帰宅が安心です。

Tips

About 10 minutes' walk from Tenryu-Futamatsu Station. There are slopes leading to the castle ruins, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. In summer, some areas have little shade, so bring water.
