This historic park is said to be the place where Minamoto no Yoritomo was exiled to Izu. In the spacious lawn plaza stand statues of Yoritomo and his wife, letting you stroll while feeling a sense of historical romance. Close to the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace, it is an easy spot to visit next as part of a course tracing the history of Izunokuni City.
