About this spot

This rest facility, marked by its large Ferris wheel, is located just off the expressway interchange. From the Ferris wheel, you can take in a sweeping view of the Ishikari Plain, perfect for enjoying the scenery midway through your journey. Inside the hall are hot spring facilities, restaurants, and a shop, letting you slowly soothe away the fatigue of driving. With plenty of play equipment for children too, it's the perfect spot for the whole family to spend the afternoon before the fireworks display.

Tips

There is a separate charge for the Ferris wheel. If you plan to use the hot spring facility, bring a towel. Parking can get crowded during summer vacation, so an early arrival is recommended.

Best time to visit

About 2 hours. Morning through early afternoon tends to be relatively uncrowded and comfortable
