This citizens' park, centered around a pond, is also tonight's fireworks venue. A walking path runs along the edge of the calm pond where waterfowl rest their wings, letting you stroll leisurely while feeling the refreshing breeze of a Hokkaido summer. Walking the venue in daylight also gives you a sense of where to choose a viewing spot at night. Spend a relaxed time with your family amid this lush, green setting before the fireworks begin.

Tips

Benches and gazebos are scattered throughout the park, so you can take breaks as you stroll. There are times when insects increase, so bring insect repellent. As evening approaches, more people begin claiming spots for the fireworks.
