Spreading across vast grassland along the Ishikari River, this leisure facility captures the spirit of Takikawa City, known as the town of balloons and gliders. Tethered balloon experiences are rare even in Hokkaido, and the view of the Sorachi Plain from above is truly breathtaking. There is also a grass sledding slope and a cycling course, making it popular with children who want to run around and play. Start your day toward the fireworks night by fully experiencing Takikawa's wide sky and land.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from central Takikawa. The tethered balloon experience may be canceled depending on weather, so it's reassuring to check the day's operating status in advance. Sleds for grass sledding are available for rent. Sunlight is strong, so don't forget a hat and something to drink.
