A scenic spot along National Route 38 overlooking the Pacific Ocean. You can spend a relaxing time swept by the sea breeze while gazing at the wide coastline and waves washing ashore. The large-scale seascape unique to eastern Hokkaido will surely be a fresh experience for children as well.
Tips
About 5 minutes by car from Michi-no-Eki Shiranuka Koiman. Some areas have slippery footing, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Since there are few things to block the sun, don't forget a hat.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. A stroll in the soft afternoon light is recommended.
