About this spot

A stone bridge spanning the Yamakuni River with eight connected arches, known as Japan's longest stone arch bridge. Locally also called the "Holland Bridge" (Olanda Bashi), the beautiful stonework from the Meiji era remains unfaded to this day. From the bridge approaches, you can view the landscape in harmony with the gorge, making it a perfect spot for photography. After visiting Rakan Temple, take a moment to rest and enjoy the distinctive Yabakei scenery.
