A shopping street rooted in the local community that spreads out immediately upon exiting Hankyu Kyoto Line's Ibaraki City Station. Traditional eateries, cafés, and bakeries line the street, perfect for a light meal before the fireworks festival. Ibaraki City is a residential town positioned exactly halfway between Osaka and Kyoto. Simply walking through the shopping street lets you feel the calm atmosphere of the town. Before visiting the shrines and temples next, enjoy a light meal to prepare yourself.

Tips

Just a short walk from Hankyu Ibaraki City Station. Since there are few shops around Bentendo Sect Myōōji Temple, it's reassuring to stock up on drinks and light snacks here. On the day of the fireworks festival, it gets crowded from evening onwards, so it's recommended to enjoy this area during the daytime.
